WILLIAM S. “BILL” FEAZELL, JR.

William S. “Bill” Feazell, Jr. passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home in New Boston, Texas. He was 83.

Bill was born January 3, 1940 in Texarkana, Texas to William Sherman Feazell, Sr. and Frances Lucille Goodman Feazell. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired Bowie County Bailiff. Bill was a member of the American Legion, NRA, and a former member of Ducks Unlimited. He was attended St. Mary of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Charles Feazell, his fatherin- law, John Hamilton; and his mother-inlaw, Emma Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Feazell of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa Feazell of New Boston, Texas and Tracy and Chuck Sorsby of New Boston, Texas; three grandchildren, Taryn Bates and her husband, Sean of New Boston, Texas, Chance Sorsby and his wife, Rachel of New Boston, Texas, and Will Sorsby and his fiancé, Bobbie Clark of New Boston, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christ Burial will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Mary of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston, Texas with Father William Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Read Hill Cemetery in New Boston, Texas.

Visitation with Rosary will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday March 5, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
