Scripture Verse of the Week
Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Student of the Month for October
Courtesy Photo Redwater Junior High 7th grader, Kayden Manley, has been selected as the Student of the Month for October. Kayden’s teacher stated, “Kayden demonstrates many traits of a model student. She practices self-discipline and focuses on her academic learning while always remaining kind, polite, and respectful to both students and staff. She readily volunteers to help others without hesitation.” RJH is extremely proud of the student and person that Kayden is, and that is why she has been selected as the October Student of the Month.

Isolation. You are not Insignificant.
Ah, isolation—a word that sounds as heavy as the burden it describes. Have you ever felt like Elijah under the broom tree, praying for relief and asking God to take away the loneliness?
