An inmate gave me a view into death row ... and beyond.
A few years ago, I met an inmate who once sat on death row. Years prior, his sentence was changed from death row to life in prison, and it happened about ten minutes before he was to go t o die. 10/25/2023 09:00 AM

Student of the Month for October
Courtesy Photo Redwater Junior High 7th grader, Kayden Manley, has been selected as the Student of the Month for October. Kayden’s teacher stated, “Kayden demonstrates many traits of a model student. She practices self-discipline and focuses on her academic learning while always remaining kind, polite, and respectful to both students and staff. She readily volunteers to help others without hesitation.” RJH is extremely proud of the student and person that Kayden is, and that is why she has been selected as the October Student of the Month. 10/11/2023 09:00 AM

Fixing Engines of the Heart
Fixing Engines of the Heart
The other day, I spent time on the street with homeless friends, laughing with some, challenging others with their belief in Christ, and talking openly about life and choices. I saw a man hovering under the hood of the not-so-new truck across from the shelter, and it was apparent the truck had seen better days. I caught myself watching, caught myself knowing, caught myself getting some money from my wallet, and parked my SUV. 09/12/2023 11:00 AM
