I had some people tell me recently that my pastor was a false prophet. While the notion was tantamount to idiotic in my thinkin, I decided to do a little studying on the subject, and found out directly that those who take it upon themselves to call others false prophets might need to do a little more Bible reading.

What if I told you that the source of some of our problems could be found within us—from the neck up? This column first applies to me, but I thought I’d share my revelation about the things that come from my mouth and how they aren’t the prettiest on certain days. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized more and more the power carried by my thoughts and words. They’re so powerful that they can bring either blessings or curses into our lives, depending on their nature. Yes, my thoughts and words are like the rudder of a ship—they may seem small, but they affect the very direction of my life. And they can literally bump into someone’s heart, causing pain.
