Jimmy Ray Roberson

Jimmy Ray Roberson, Jr. of De Kalb, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at a Little Rock, Arkansas hospital.  He was 50. 

Jim was born January 5, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Jimmy Ray Roberson, Sr. and Janice Corder.  He was a Lineman and Veteran of the United States Army. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Roberson. 

He is survived by his wife, Misty Crump Roberson of De Kalb, Texas; three daughters and one son-in-law, Jamie and Pete Cagle of Huntsville, Texas, Macy Lemaster of Conroe, Texas, and Eden Roberson of Palacios, Texas; three sons, Cody Roberson of Tyler, Texas, Jacob Roberson of De Kalb, Texas and Matthew Thomas of De Kalb, Texas; his stepmother, Melody Harmon; numerous brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Presleigh, Jessi, Dalton, and Levi; several nieces and nephews; other family members; and friends.  

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Woodmen Cemetery Pavilion in De Kalb, Texas with Amos Kropf officiating.  

A committal service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Mitchell Cemetery in New Waverly, Texas.   

Mr. Roberson will lie in state Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
