Virginia Cameron, 85, of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at a local care facility.
Virginia was born November 11, 1933 in De Kalb, Texas to Clarence and Ola Son Saxon. She was a retired hair stylist and a member of First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James R. Raney; one brother, George Saxon; and two sisters, Ann Sheridan and Mary Province.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Ricky Harrington of Texarkana, Texas and Amy and Mark Drosche of Plano, Texas; two sisters, Norma Taylor of Maud, Texas and Barbara Snider of New Boston, Texas; one brother, Clarence Ray Saxon of New Boston, Texas; three grandchildren, Jared Harrington of Texarkana, Texas, Kelsey Blackmon of Palestine, Texas, and Seth Drosche of Plano, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Joshua Walker, Bella Harrington, Julie Walker, Parker Harrington, Jaxon Harrington, Jessa Harrington, and Major Blackmon; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church Chapel in New Boston, Texas with Rev. Todd Reed officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.
