Hornets, Bears, and Dragons on top in last week’s gameplay

New Boston The New Boston Lions fell in their week 4 matchup against the Winnsboro Raiders. The Lions ran the ball 58 times for a total of 280 yards and one touchdown by Demetrius McChester. The Lions passing game was effective, completing 4 of 8 attempts for 33 yards and two touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, the Lions allowed only 89 rushing yards but gave up 468 passing yards. Dememtrius McChester returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Hooks The Hooks Hornets won in a blowout victory in their Homecoming game over Hawkins. Quarterback Trip Baysinger completed 15 out of 19 attempts for 245 yards and 3 touchdowns, 2 of which to senior receiver Matthew Hayes, 1 to senior receiver Carter Harris. Hooks had three different backs rush for a touchdown Keyshawn Walls, Dontravious Coulter, and Trip Baysinger. Final score 40-0 with Hooks on top. Kaleb Dooley had 11 carries for 46 yards and a couple of touchdowns as well.

Dragons, Cardinals, and Pirates land on top in last week’s gameplay

New Boston The New Boston Lions fell to the Atlanta Rabbits in their week 3 matchup in Atlanta. The Lions went 41 rushes for a total of 174 yards. Quarterback Xavier Rowden threw for 23 yards on three completions. The Lion defense had three takeaways including two fumble recoveries by Connor Bobbitt and eight tackles by Kaden Hall. Final score 34-8, Rabbits over Lions. Hooks The Hooks Hornets managed to score three touchdowns in the first quarter against Winnsboro.
