The Tribune embarked last week on a new campaign to involve local high school students with learning, and preserving, the rich history of Bowie County. An announcement was made last week and was sent out via social media and emails to the superintendents of local school districts in reference to a journalism “assignment” for students in our local schools. The Tribune fully believes speaking about and publishing the history of Bowie County would be of great value to our readers and to the students themselves and we would love to see those stories in our local newspaper. 09/05/2023 11:00 AM
