New report shines a light on flawed Texas water planning processes
A new study commissioned by the Texas Conservation Alliance shines a glaring light on potential flaws in the state’s water planning process as a whole. The report exposes some of the challenges of continuing to rely heavily on reservoirs to meet our state’s water needs. It details planned reservoirs, explores the challenges of accurately measuring how much water planned reservoirs will provide, and spotlights conflicts of interest present in the water planning process.

#Prayfor Kymber
One of the best things I have found about prayer is the facet of reciprocity. When someone we know needs prayer, we pray.

MODERN DAY SAINT
I’m fascinated with history, especially religious history. I’ve heard about Assisi, Italy for decades ever since I heard the story of St. Francis of Assisi. This week I discovered a story about a teenage boy who will be canonized as a saint on April 27 by the Catholic Church. The teenager is named Carlo Acutis. You may be asking why a teenager would be canonized. Let me explain.

Sticky Grace for Easter
April has rolled in with all the cheer of Easter promises, the heat of a Texas campfire, and some rainy days. I should’ve known better. It was sunny and warm, and I had a car full of marshmallow Peeps and chocolate eggs just waiting to become a science experiment. But I had a plan. I was headed out to see my homeless friends on the streets, to pass out some Easter joy wrapped in foil and dipped in sugar.

Grading the Queens
Spring is definitely coining! God promised in Genesis 1:14, “Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and they shall serve as signs and for seasons, and for days and years'' Spring isn’t here just yet, but don't tell that to the bees.
