DeKalbFFA
DeKalb FFA has had a significant amount of success thus far in the 2023-2024 school year. Over the past year Thomas Baird served as the Daingerfield District President. During the Daingerfield District Convention in New Boston on January 29th, 2024 Thomas was elected to serve as an Area Officer for the 2024-2025 school year. Thomas will give another speech at the Area Convention in Carthage on February 26th to determine his position on the Area 6 officer team. Isaiah Hamilton was elected to serve as the Daingerfield District Reporter for the 20242025 school year. During the candidate selection process, both students underwent a test, interview and gave a speech on stage. They will begin their year of service this summer by attending multiple conferences, conventions, and trainings.
