The Color Code-Pro anglers say it’s always best to keep it simple when choosing bait colors for bass

9-2A announces All-District honorees for 2023
As the 2023 football season has come to an end, many local athletes have earned recognition for their hard work through postseason accolades. What was surely a season to remember in our coverage area produced nail biters, blow outs and stalemates. Trash was talked, rivalries settled, and good games exchanged by all. In 2A, James Bowie Pirates Dylan Braley earned MVP of District 9. Braley led the Pirates in rushing yards and has been a go-to running back throughout his tenure. Junior Kristian Lambert was named Defensive MVP for the district. Lambert returning for another season will surely help the Pirates on the hunt for their third straight district title, the second under Chance Blackburn. 11/29/2023 10:00 AM

My good friend Gary Paris recently enjoyed one of the those magical afternoons in a deer stand that many hunters dream about but most are never lucky enough to experience. What’s really cool about the deal is he was hunting a tiny strip of free-ranging woods about six acres in size. 11/22/2023 10:00 AM
