Local satellite dealer to sell Direct TV, a revolutionary new direct broadcast satellite service Quest Home Entertainment, a satellite television retailer in New Boston announced that it was authorized by DirecTV Inc. to sell the DirecTV entertainment programming service in its 6 locations that serviced over 4,000 customers. DirecTV entertainment programming was delivered nationwide via satellite, and received by 18-inch satellite dishes installed in homes across the country, along with a digital decoder box and a remote control.

Frontage/ Hampton Rd, detour in place FM 2148 - North from US 82 & from 3419 to N. Frontage/ Hampton Rd, extension of frontage roads. Closed to thru traffic N. Frontage/Hampton Rd. - West from FM 989. Extension of frontage roads FM 989/Kings Highway - From I-30 North Frontage Rd. to Gibson Lane, widening road US 259 – Closed to thru traffic north of I-30 to FM 44, detour in place. Officials conclude investigation in 2023 fire in DeKalb, no hate crime, no arrests made
A year-and-a-half long investigation at a charred DeKalb rodeo arena has left more questions than answers after no one can answer how the fire started or who placed a racially charged display and multiple people claim to have ownership of the property.
