Gilstrap to host luncheon
Please don’t tell anyone that you can’t go home again. Jim Gilstrap is hosting a luncheon for special friends at Bar M Steakhouse on Saturday April 6. Jimmy said this way he can say hello to many long time friends, including New Boston well known citizen Ronny Looney. He and Looney were co-captains of the 1956 Lions football team. Gene Wilson, a classmate of both, and a NB sports Hall of Fame member, will emcee the event. “This way, all of us can enjoy a great lunch and catch up on a lot of things,” said Gilstrap, who has spent most of his life living in Dallas and San Diego.,moved back to Dallas a few years ago. Smiling, he said, “I’m excited to be back home.”

Lost Dog
